Chile and
Argentina are known for producing some of the finest Malbec grapes
in the world. The Malbec juice which we
imported directly from Chile was grown at
approximately 3,400 feet which creates great growing
conditions for warm days and cool evenings.
This variance in temperature gives the Malbec its
distinct characteristics and flavors. Once the
fermentation process was complete, the wine was
put in French oak barrels for 8 months.
The result
is an incredibly smooth toasty wine that is
comparable to the finest Malbec wines from Argentina
and Chile. This wine pairs well with classic
beef dishes as well as pastas. These
foods tend to bring out the peppery quality of the
wine.
