Running Hare Vineyard is a relaxing spot to chill. There’s a live band and a variety of beer and wine selections. There’s one station that offers all DMV brewed IPA. There are multiple places to order drinks, and upon arrival, you’re greeted with a refreshing wine slushy. I tried the peach mango wine slushy, it hit the spot for a hot day!
At this vineyard, you can bring your own food, snacks, etc, this makes it great for families or couples looking to enjoy a day out. Consider bringing a board game or a deck of cards.
Overall, Running Hare Vineyard is a place I’d love to visit again. Highly recommended!

Great family friendly place to relax near Prince Frederick! Lovely site with excellent food and drinks, and live music many weekends. Reasonable price, definitely worth finding.

Nice place, with lots of outdoor seating and the best part: wine slushees! It will be nice when they offer kids (non-alcoholic slushes); especially for days like today when it feels like 102 degrees.

We really enjoyed our time at Running Hare Winery!! The slushies were fantastic and the craft beers were very tasty. The whole winery with the different seating areas was beautiful. We came for a girls night out and we will definitely go back for other events.

This is a great lil place that we discovered in our travels. It was a nice little discovery. Wine slushies, live music and 2 food trucks. Their events were on the board as you walk in and it was full.

Great beers, nice warm fire on a chilly night, great wine selection too! Had a lot of fun with friends at their rehearsal and then their wedding there the next day 🤩🥂 It was such a gorgeous wedding venue, I wish I could have gotten married there 15 years ago ❤

Visited during their Oktoberfest weekend. There was a large crowd but plenty of room to spread out in this nice setting. Food trucks were good, wine and beer selection was good for our crowd as well. Need to work on the bathroom situation though for this type of crowd. Nice day beautiful place and staff was very helpful and nice

Enjoyed my drive to this beautiful place. My husband and I loved the signs on the sides of the road as we drive up the driveway, however it would be awesome to see more of them. We are sorry to hear about the fire but our visit was really nice. The young lady who did our tasting was so nice and knowledgeable. Only disappointment was that I had to taste from plastic cups. As you know plastic interferes with the aroma and the flavor of the wine. We still left with several bottles.

We were visiting the area from out of town (northern Vermont) and we thought we would check out a local winery. Wow. Did this place not disappoint. Live music ($5 cover) with a beer garden and wine tasting available. We chatted with the two bartenders on shift and they were extremely personable. They made a feel welcome and that made the experience even better. Thank you so much for the great service and we will be back when visiting the area again!

We had the most magical experience at Running Hare for our October 2024 wedding! Having lived in Calvert County my whole life, I had no idea this gem of a venue existed until recently. Now it’s somewhere my husband and I love to go to, to listen to music + grab drinks, so we knew it was the perfect place for our special day!
The staff at Running Hare went above and beyond to make our wedding day flawless. Our coordinator Taylor was incredibly attentive, helping us through every detail of the planning process + keeping us organized.
We couldn’t have asked for a better location for our wedding. Running Hare made our day truly unforgettable, and we highly recommend it to any couple!
